Dear Mr Wee and Miyagi sensei,
i found a great site to attach the singlish lesson pack 1.mp3 to - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singlish
p.s. i love the mr yap character from the previous good english story... he's damn farny... i noticed he had some anonyminous cameos in other podcasts too..( or was that unconscious?) wat car does mr yap drive? can johnny make it more "fierce"? can mr yap correct johnny's england?
don't you find mr noodle chia a bit effeminate?
the guy you interviewed at e joo chiat cleanup - was he vietnamese???
p.p.s., there is a real Miyagi dojo, which is my old karate school, the Goju-ryu (which is the school) and the Goju-kai (which is the association now known as Seiwa-kai i think) Miyagi Chojun was it's founder.
rgds,
kiium
SJI kicks rugby ass! ;p
plaek! ... narf!
p.p.p.s. yesterday, when i was wearing short pants, i ordered bak chor mee & i told then young man "bu yao zhu gan" (hiding a snigger under my breath) and then he said..."orh...mai ter kwa hor"...
p.p.p.p.s i thought this is called the mrbrown show b'cos we have to mind your language(sic) ...aiyo...so persistently insistingly NON-political... haha... i teech you a new word hor.. insistingly
kiium
...plaek!
i hate it when ppl use the word "irregardless"... there's no such word..it's an oxyMORON ! Maybe you guys & Ruby can start a discourse onthe usage of singaporean oxymoronic euphemisnismss..???
Are you trying to make a statement or a living?
I dont hear Mr Brown speaking in any accent that is not noticeably Singaporean and Mr Miyagi has a poor Australian accent.
Ms Rosie Kant is very talented I must say. She is very versatile.
But all these antics that you put up simply take advantage of those who are less fortunate.
Did any of your get a 1st class for your degree?
What do you think would happen if Lee Kuan Yew were to speak with an English accent?
Why dont u do something really helpful, like caring for the poor in Singapore.
gee, you could've saved the earth by not going online and use the electricity... you shouldn't have spent $$$ on a computer to go online and post remarks when that dosh could've been donated to charity....
Impqf
g, eberting i ronat. i oni enkarage u 2 ronat too lar. if i ront go on line how to enkourage u huh huh huh
it's not about the degrees in English you have...but to paraphrase from the Adrian Pang (any relation to Ruby? ~_^) ...the "inner beng" in all of us needs to be let out... hahhaahha...did you guys catch that show about the lawyer beng (Adrian Pang) .. hahaha
